PAN Apologizes If Grand Campaign at GBLA Bandung Tomorrow Makes Traffic Jam

The National Mandate Party (PAN) will hold a grand campaign entitled Pagelaran Anak Negeri at Gelora Bandung Lautan Api Stadium (GBLA), Bandung City, West Java, Thursday (8/2). It is estimated that the campaign is targeted to be attended by around 200 thousand participants.

West Java DPW PAN Chairman Desy Ratnasari apologized to the public if the implementation of the grand campaign would later cause traffic jams.

“I want to express my apologies to the community, especially the people in Gelora Bandung Lautan Api (GBLA), hapunten anu kasuhun bilih kawagel (I apologize for the inconvenience), disturbed perhaps by traffic and activities,” Desy said at GBLA Stadium, as in a written statement, Wednesday (7/2).

According to Desy, this grand campaign activity will be attended by many people and volunteers supporting the winning of PAN and Prabowo-Gibran in West Java. As a result, their presence will potentially crowd the roads around the GBLA Stadium area.

“We mobilized a lot of cadres so it might create distress and inconvenience. So we apologize if it interferes with community activities in GBLA,” he said.

Meanwhile, PAN Secretary General Edy Soeparno said that in this grand campaign activity, Presidential Candidate Number 2 Prabowo Subianto and Vice Presidential Candidate Gibran Rakabuming were scheduled to attend.

“This event will be attended by Prabowo-Gibran Presidential Candidate and Vice President, leaders of political parties carrying Prabowo-Gibran, as well as volunteers who have contributed to encouraging the strengthening of Prabowo-Gibran’s position,” he said.

Edy also revealed that the agenda of this grand campaign would involve all cadres who are members of the Advanced Indonesia Coalition as well as volunteers.

He targeted the participants present to enliven the grand campaign in winning paslon number 02 reaching hundreds of thousands of people.

“God willing, 150,000-200,000 participants will be present. And this is a large-scale performance and meeting held at Gelora Bandung Lautan Api Stadium (GLBA),” he concluded.
